Job Description
Shell DS uses a variety of Salesforce instances consisting of different Salesforce solutions. The SFDC developer is responsible for the design and implementation of Sales, Service Cloud or Force.com custom solutions taking into account the right balance between declarative vs programmatic development as well as the Salesforce coding limits and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions on the Force.com platform
- Understand the requirement of a functional specification or user story, ensure its completeness for the next steps
- Document technical solution design
- Run a quality assessment of a counterparts’ code.
- Resolve defects during test cycles and hyper care
- Adhere to the release and Change process
Requirements
Key Knowledge Areas
- Up to 3 years development experience which at least 2+ years Salesforce.com development experience (triggers, apex classes, visual force pages)
- Excellent knowledge of Web Development (Ajax, JavaScript, SOAP, HTTP, CSS Bootstrap) - Excellent Salesforce.com declarative configuration skills
- Data migration between SFDC environments using changesets, Eclipse or other tools
- Experience with version control solutions (e.g. Github, Sourcetree) - Salesforce developer 401 certification - Salesforce Advanced developer 501 certification level 1
- Experience with SSO, FAAS (preferred) - Experience with ERP integration (preferred) - Experience with Agile development (product backlog, user stories etc)
