The candidate’s core responsibility would be to generate a Bill of Materials (BOM) for the Design Engineering Service Line – Automation and Fire.
Handle the creation and maintenance of accurate BOM for the Design Engineering Service Line.
Update BOM with accurate information about materials – both Siemens and third party.
Collaboration with the Operational team and interaction with different stakeholders.
Utilize the Smart Infrastructure Parts to gather common materials or pricing.
Associate quotes to line items in SAP.
Insert and update any Sourcing Approval Forms (SAF) created by the Design Engineer.
Collaborate with TLs for any prioritization of BOM requests.
Create re-estimates for the Design Engineer.
Automation Tasks - Run DT to SAP BOM transfer, and insert any missing/third-party materials.
Fire Tasks - Enter material in SAP per the fire deviation report and final as designed, insert any missing/third-party materials, and adjust them as sold.
