Job Summary

The Intern - Demand and Inventory Planning will support the planning and management of inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, minimize costs, and meet customer demand. The role involves analyzing data, preparing reports, and collaborating with various teams to maintain accurate demand forecasts and inventory planning

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels and generate reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, procurement, and sales teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts.
  • Utilize Excel functions like VLOOKUP and SUMIF to analyze data and generate insights.
  • Support the preparation of weekly and monthly inventory reports for management review.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance demand and inventory planning accuracy.
