The Team

S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global, provides high-impact financial information and workflow solutions to over 4,200 leading financial institutions, advisory firms, and corporations. The Public Ownership team is responsible for doing research and collecting data of Public Companies and Public Funds globally.

The Impact

This role will influence the Chinese Ownership data users and the overall Public Ownership team. In addition to collecting and validating the data, this role requires collaborating with peers, stakeholders and on process improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Research and collection of country-specific financial reports with relevant Ownership data in Simplified and Traditional Chinese in a timely manner.
  • Fixing of data errors when required.
  • Periodic reporting, participation in meetings and presentations.
  • Be part of cross teams and cross-location projects to achieve KPIs.
  • Learn methodologies like Agile and Lean and apply them to their work to ideate and execute process improvement and automation projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Advanced level in Chinese: HSK Level IV (B2) or above.
  • Advanced level in English, both oral and written.
  • Detail and goal-oriented.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Programming and automation skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, and highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Finance and Economics.
  • SQL, Blue Prism, Python, VBA.
  • Out-of-the-box thinker.
