Your role

The Team:

As part of the Digital Product Management Team, they streamline and innovate complex data processes, focusing on Machine-to-Machine interaction to digitize Commodity Insights. The team manages products that provide valuable data via an Excel Add-In, APIs, real-time streaming, and bulk delivery. They ensure content and analytics are available to internal platforms and external consumers as needed.

The Impact: 

• S&P Global Commodity Insights generates over 10,000 daily assessments for 1,500+ financial instruments, facilitating $10 billion in daily transactions. They stream 20,000+ bids, offers, and trades from 450+ top commodity trading companies monthly. Additionally, we track over 60,000 vessels live, produce 1,000+ weekly reports, and monitor nearly 90% of the world’s refineries. In essence, we manage a vast amount of data.
• The role offers unrivaled exposure to the real-time commodity markets, a unique perspective on how this data is valued across all walks of business, and the ability to shape and build the future of this data flow.
• This role focuses on enhancing adaptation and customer retention of the Commodity Insights Excel Add-in and Power BI. You will work with subject matter experts to develop products for global commodity and energy markets. The position offers collaboration with various S&P Global teams, including Technology, market reporters, and senior stakeholders. You will thrive in S&P Global's diverse and inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities include:  

• Created and maintained the Excel templates that helped visualize our data for newly onboarded datasets, liaising with product management stakeholders, dataset specialists, and even customers.
• Manage the community feedback from internal and external stakeholders, and meet with customers to prioritize improvements.    
• Review and Improve documentation (Identifying gaps/ inconsistencies, creating similar use cases for different datasets).
• Working with Marketing, creating learning videos/ collateral for Machine Delivery products.

About you

Basic Qualifications:

• Fresher in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) (Year of passing 2024 only)
• Knowledge of corporate finance/accountancy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Shift: 12 PM to 9 PM IST / 1 PM to 10 PM IST
• Willing to work in a Hybrid work environment
