Job Description

The Team: S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Data Programs team drives vision and strategy with a critical, thoughtful, and intuitive eye. This team provides exemplary support to our senior leaders while managing and supervising projects and programs that impact our employees and clients. This group impresses partners with their ability to lead, collaborate and think critically while performing daily tasks and leading project initiatives.

The Impact: You will have the opportunity to interact with and work alongside driven executives, and department leaders. As Program Associate, you will contribute to managing various sets of programs, projects, communications, collaboration across business lines and shared capabilities, to help execute and accelerate core Market Intelligence strategic initiatives and Data Strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Building, managing, and executing Data strategic programs & projects and aligning the deliverables to the program’s “outcome”
  • Ongoing communications responsibilities such as the newsletters, intranet sites - updates, and maintenance
  • Drive partnership opportunities from a program perspective between various business lines and shared capabilities globally
  • Ability to engage with employees and communicate effectively on all programs
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Provide assistance in planning and driving leadership offsites and meets – this would include preparation of strategic agenda, etc.
  • Contribute to the strategic global townhalls, business reviews and leadership presentations
  • Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements

What We’re Looking For: We are looking for an individual who shows attention to detail, a desire to learn and grow, has creative thinking, and problem-solving skills. This position will be key in the evolution of our services to Data organization. Not only will this person be responsible for key programs but will also be given opportunities to increase responsibility for programs and projects while developing their career. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Good hands-on experience in project and program management
  • Strong organization, stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to have multiple projects and tasks in flight at once, in various stages
  • Ability to drive large scale initiatives with little direction or guidance
  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders to develop a strategy
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint
  • Willingness to work in program/project management for long-term

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate in business administration or any specialized qualification in project/program management
  • 2-4 years of related experience in a related project/program management role
  • Strong sense of business and organization knowledge
