Your role

About the Internship:

• SAI provides opportunities for internship/training to students with good academic records as well as interest and aptitude in research in Sports.
• The Maximum duration of the internship/training can be six months without any stipend.

About you

Eligibility criteria:

• Internship will be open to students from any Govt. & recognized Institutions and Universities within India or abroad. Internships shall be available throughout the year based on the requirements of the Sports Science and Medical Centers of the Sports Authority of India.

Educational qualification:

• The candidates pursuing Graduation/ Post Graduation from any Govt. & recognized Institutions and Universities within India or abroad in the disciplines viz- Anthropometry, Physiology, Psychology, Nutrition, GTMT, Biomechanics, Biochemistry, Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy.
• Post Graduates in the disciplines viz- Anthropometry, Physiology, Psychology, Nutrition, GTMT, Biomechanics, Biochemistry, Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy.

Note: Application should arrive by the 1st to 10th of every month for the internship likely to commence within two months from the date of receiving the application. The Period of internship/ training should be mentioned in the email along with a synopsis of the topic she/ he intends to work on and briefly explain your academic pursuit as well as the SAI that will benefit from this internship (within 500 words). The application must contain a recommendation of competent authority from the academic institution, where the candidate is pursuing his/ her study.

Depending upon the number of applications received against a particular subject, SAI reserves the right to fix up the eligibility criteria, limit the number of applicants to be called for a particular period, and decide about the mode of screening thereof. After the selection of the candidates, the concerned division will send the offer of internship directly to the selected candidate under intimation to the Administration.
