Job Description

Burnpur Hospital invites applications for Walk-In Interview for engagement of trainees under a Proficiency Training Programme (Nursing) from qualified Nurses for a period of 18 months.

• Date of Interview : 16th August, 2022 (Tuesday) 
• Place of Interview :   Confluence, Opp. to Burnpur Post Office, Near Bharti Bhawan, P.O. Burnpur -713325, DT: Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal.
• Reporting Time 09.00 am with Educational and other relevant documents regarding Date of Birth and Identity Proof in original and photocopies. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Upper Age limit
  • General candidates - 30 years as on 01/08/2022
  • OBC Candidates - 33 years as on 01/08/2022
  • ST & SC Candidates - 35 years as on 01/08/2022
  • PH candidates - 45 for SC/ST, 43 for OBC and 40 for UR
• The Medical fitness of the candidate selected as trainee under the instant scheme will be examined by the Medical Officer of Burnpur Hospital, SAIL-IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur and shall be allowed to join the training only if he/ she has been declared fit for the programme.
• The candidate selected as Trainees shall be required to produce all the testimonials and certificates of relevant qualification (matriculation onwards) as detailed below:
• Candidates are also required to submit the certificates pertaining to SSLC and HSC / previous examination passed during the time of selection.

Required Qualification

• Intermediate (10+2) from any university / institution recognized by the Central or State Govt. and,
• B.Sc (Nursing) / Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a recognised Institute / college affiliated to Indian Nursing Council (INC)

Selection Procedure

• The trainees to be inducted shall be based on the performance of the candidates in the walk-in interview subject to their fulfilling the advertised eligibility criteria.
• Training Hours: The training shall be imparted for 8 hours in a day and 48 hours in a week.
