Your role

As part of the role your responsibilities include:

To read a wiring diagram and perform wiring of instruments and interlocks based on it.

• To use sophisticated calibration jigs and calibrate all types of instruments.
• To identify electronic components, check them and to refer the component data book and repair them.
• To install, commission, find out faults and repair the radio communication system.
• To work under DCS / PC-based environment and to find faults in field instruments/plants in that environment.
• To operate DCS/ PLC programmer/monitor for a day to day work of plant/instrument fault diagnosis.
• To read manuals of instruments and to work accordingly.
• To repair, overhaul and assemble air conditioners and refrigeration equipment.
• Coordination with another dept for instrumentation jobs as and when required.
• To carry out such other jobs and jobs incidental to all these work as required or as per the instructions of seniors.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• ITI / ATS Instrument Mechanic  with 0 to 2  years of experience in maintenance/installation of Instrumentation systems in plant
