Your role
Extend and ensure warm and courteous service to all the guests.
Attend the briefing and be informed of the daily room position.
Have detailed information regarding arrivals, their room requirements, and expected departures of the day.
Check on the tasks allocated for the day by the A1 Manager.
Assist in arrivals for the day at the Front Desk and place VIP amenities, fruits, beverages, etc., in consultation with the A1 Manager.
Ensure that the registration details are completely filled by the guest prior to check-in.
While check-in, if the Guest is a FIT – non-transient with scanty baggage, double check the payment for a room with incidentals has been already processed.
Ensure that every guest has a smooth and quick check-in as per the brand standards.
Assist the Guest with his baggage and escort him to the room.
Responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned rooms.
Cleaning of a given number of rooms according to brand standards ensuring a defect-free room.
Follow periodical cleaning schedules.
Responsible for equipping all rooms with linen, and amenities in the guest rooms.
Ensure the trolley is clean, tidy, and well equipped with supplies, linen, and room amenities are always kept in its proper position.
Ensure all the complaints from the guests are immediately informed to the A1 Manager.
Know the Hotel and the City well in order to respond to guest queries.
Take the assist guest with check-out and collect payment as required.
Keep information aids like road maps, city guides, etc., handy for guest usage.
Assist the other sections allocated whenever required.
Ensure to be familiar with the hotel layout, fire exits, and elevator locations.
Report any equipment malfunction, emergency situations, or suspicious persons to the immediate supervisor.
Adhere to the principles and work practices detailed under the HACCP System in the department viz., Food Safety, Hygiene and Cleanliness, Health, Storage, etc. as applicable to the area of your workplace.
