Job Summary: 

Performs tasks related to the day-to-day production and development of e-learning courses for which involves a series of steps such as copyediting, word templating, conversion to XML, creating and adding animations that are brand compliant with Thomson Reuters standards and style sheets

Job Responsibilities include:

  1. Reviews author manuscripts
  2. Copyedits and proofreads content to ensure text is grammatically sound and without errors
  3. Transfers Word content into XML
  4. Locates and places graphics (or creates them when none can be found) appropriately on screens
  5. Creates charts and tables according to style sheet guidelines
  6. Create and place interactive elements and animation into courses
  7. Manually test the e-learning course for browser compatibility, animation functionality, adherence to the style sheet, and branding standards for layout design
