Job Description

Candidates with 6 months to 2 years experience in Ed-tech, any education domain, or IT Industry will be preferred. The role of a Business Development Executive is to assist the organization's sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisitions. He/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and competitor activity.

Responsibilities

  • Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
  • Make cold calls for new business leads, email campaigns, and social media campaigns
  • Send campaigns and schedule appointments with interested parties
  • Support in writing new business proposals
  • Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
  • Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients
  • Follow company guidelines and procedures for the acquisition of customers
  • Keep prospective client database updated  
  • Sales negotiation skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field.
  • Knowledge of the Education Industry
  • Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients
  • Must possess strong customer service skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in project management and/or sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Must have good negotiation skills
  • Must be able to create good presentations
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and an active listener
  • Ability to work under pressure
