Your role

As the digital analytics developer, you will:

• Scope business requirements, design, and implement solution design.
• Use best practices to QA and execute all web analytics, paid media, CRO, and personalization tracking requests (everything after the data layer) in Tealium IQ.
• Collaborate on solution design, SDR documentation, and architecture maintenance for digital analytics tools.
• Align with Agile project management framework following weekly sprint cycles in JIRA.
• Assist in privacy governance for all third-party tracking deployed across VMware web properties.
• Collaborate with IT to create requirements for tracking requests involving data layer modification.

Career progression

Within your first 6 months:

• Learn the business needs and focus areas of the Web and Digital Services organization.
• Become a technical liaison between marketing and IT defining business requirements and communicating technical concepts to marketing stakeholders.
• Create foundational documentation for digital analytics tools including Tealium IQ, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Segment, Adobe Target, and FullStory.

After 6 months+:

• Create first-party data collection architecture for server-side tracking and a cookie-less future in collaboration with the Manager, Digital Marketing Analytics.
• Maintain high data quality as the owner of digital data collection.

Work-life balance

The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remotely depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
