Success in the Role

What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

Automation is the key to success

Within 30 to 60 days of employment, become competent with VMware’s NSX ALB product, Avitest (In house TAF), STK (Supportability Tool Kit), and other tools. You will work closely with the Test, Dev, Escalation, and Field Engineering team and understand the set of requirements and solve some day to day issues through Automation.

Within 60 to 180 days of employment, you will be owning certain areas, working on new feature sets, and facilitating test script writers by enhancing automation frameworks or developing new tools.

Within 360 days along with the above, you will be an automation and technology expert. You will be planning, designing, and implementing end-to-end solutions for increasing product quality and engineering productivity.

The Work

What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing regularly?

As a part of the NSX ALB Test Infra and Tools team:

• Build Test automation framework and Automation Tools to allow software engineers and test engineers to create test case, write test script, and execute tests.
• Help Engineers in writing/prototyping test scripts for their respective features.
• Develop and write various Automation tools as per requirement to facilitate automation.
• Design and Implement Automation tools to increase engineering productivity.
• Design, develop and maintain STK as a service Full Stack web application.
