You will be part of an expanding and experienced team in VMware’s Global Support organization. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 3 months you will work toward completing?
- Within the first 30 days of employment, you will understand the Quality & Continuous Improvement Team’s responsibilities and processes across the global team.
- Within 60 days of employment, you will be actively conducting audits & providing feedback and findings to employees and managers to support the delivery of the quality strategy for FY23.
- Within 60 days, you will be developing coaching plans
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
As part of the Quality & Continuous Improvement Team you will:
- Perform process-related audits and drive adherence of guidelines by frontline engineers.
- Daily / weekly reporting and analysis of data to track process adherence and improvement areas
- Develop coaching plans and provide feedback to the engineers based on the observations from the sample Quality checks are performed daily
- Investigate measurements that are found to deviate from standards
- Provide inputs to support programs that focus on ensuring quality and support the management team to understand opportunities for improvement (Quality, Process, etc.)
- Provide feedback to Managers & Senior Managers
