Your role

  • As a System Design Engineer, you will be working over the whole span of activities of embedded system design and development. For instance, you will be working on a Combustion system, EATS, 48V system, etc.
  • This position is within GTT (Group Trucks Technology) Powertrain Engineering where they work with multiple systems and components within the design, and development of our products for various trucks and bus ranges supporting global sites in both medium-duty and heavy-duty areas.
  • To be successful in this position you need to be a team player and have an analytic mindset of a true problem solver.
  • You have experience/understanding from the automotive industry, system development, or software development or you are a Function Developer with a great attitude working cross-functional and have the willingness to learn and take more responsibility

About You

Required skills and experience:

  • Good Knowledge of Model-Based Development
  • Automotive Understanding from the propulsion domain (combustion engines, EATS, driveline, electromobility,48V system…)
  • Ph.D. in Electronics / Electrical & Electronics / Control system Engineering or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written

Merit:
Automotive experience, MATLAB/Simulink model development, Target link, C, Embedded SW/HW, Control theory, HIL CAN, LIN, ISO 26262, J1939, AUTOSAR, Systems Engineering, Python.
Preferred: Function/SW development for Powertrain products understanding the technical aspects of transmission.
