Your role

As a GIS Analyst, your role involves leveraging a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to tackle challenges in water resources engineering. You'll focus on map making, spatial analysis, and software development, using GIS software such as ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online. Experience with open-source GIS software is advantageous. Your primary duties include analyzing spatial data and designing digital maps using advanced mapping tools.

Responsibilities

• Possess a strong technical background and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for the challenges of water resources engineering.
• Focus on map making, spatial analysis, or software development as a GIS Analyst.
• Have fundamental knowledge of GIS software such as ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online.
• Experience with open-source GIS software is considered a bonus.
• Use mapping software to analyze spatial data and design digital maps.

About you

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geoinformatics/Remote sensing/Geography/Geodesy or related fields 0-1 year of work experience in Geographic Information Systems
• Programming knowledge in languages like Python, SQL, and Open-source spatial databases is a bonus
• Excellent written and verbal communication responsibilities
