As a Design Engineer, you will be integral to project design teams, working on various projects, including commercial, sports, healthcare, education, and public assembly buildings.
About you
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Structural engineering is required.
PhD in Structural Engineering with a specialization in Seismic Engineering and Structural Evaluation & Retrofit would be a plus.
A strong academic background and a keen interest in Seismic Engineering, Structural Dynamics, and Finite Element Analysis are considered significant advantages.
An ideal candidate for this position will be someone with:
0-2 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in discipline-specific engineering techniques and design calculation principles.
Knowledgeable about applicable standards and codes, with a preference for candidates familiar with American standards.
Hands-on experience with CSI software such as ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
Experience in Earthquake Engineering, Seismic Evaluations, and Retrofitting is an advantage.
Experience in Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steel design is required.
Experience in Wood design is an advantage.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience or a strong academic background in using ASCE 41.
Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a plus.
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to prepare or assist in the preparation of design submittals, structural calculations, and reports.
Proficient in using MS Office.
Candidates must be proactive, possess strong organizational skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be an effective team player.
