Develop, maintain, and publish user guides, standard operating procedures, checklists, training plans, and release notification documents for multiple software systems.
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while working independently and with other team members.
Prepare and maintain training plans for software development and testing teams.
A technical writer must be ready to learn the software products by hands-on experience.
Complete preparation of documents based on set standards of order, clarity, brevity, style, and terminology.
Confer with software developers, testers, and requesters to determine the subject matter to be developed for completing the document.
Coordinate with the requester/end-user through the user acceptance process.
Review published material and make revisions or changes in scope, content, format based on updates in the software.
