Your role

Role of Intern:

• The role of an intern on the Data Engineering team would be clearly defined to avoid any confusion and bring objectivity to the internship program. 
• Participate in ongoing projects in the team.
• Learn the contours of live projects in Industry while contributing to the project.
• Align to the objectives assigned by the Lead/person assigning and reviewing work.
• Follow all the policies applied to employees and contractors without being one.
• Submit a timely update on the progress.
• Submit the final report of the internship with clear details of the project participated, work performed, learnings achieved, and what else Intern would have liked to do differently or contribute more if there was more time and opportunity available.

Purpose of the internship program:

• Internship is a long-standing mechanism of providing Industry context to students while they are studying.
• This helps them prepare better for real-time Jobs instead of just focusing on more theoretical aspects.
• To help build a pipeline of candidates for its hiring as well as serve the Industry at large.
• To also assist with ongoing projects where interns could contribute while they gain experience on real-life projects.

Training, development & rotations

One can never stop learning so Yubi has a dedicated budget of INR 75,000/year that you can use towards pursuing learning programs/certifications/attending conferences.

Salary & benefits

About you

Evaluation Criteria:

• Looking for candidates from relevant undergraduate programs i.e. B E in CS/IT Integrated/5 Year Courses with specialization in CS/IT.

Evaluation of the candidates:

• Must: Strong Problem-Solving SkillsPython/Scala, BASH ScriptingSQLGood knowledge of Relational Databases.
• Good: Completion of any Big Data CertificationWeb Scraping ProjectsData Transformation ProjectsKnowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehousing, and Data Marts.
