Your role

The company is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Procurement Intern to join its team. As a Global Aircraft Parts Sourcing Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the procurement team in sourcing and acquiring aircraft parts and components from suppliers worldwide. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace industry and develop valuable skills in supply chain management, negotiation, and vendor relations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with sourcing and procurement of aircraft parts, components, and materials from global suppliers.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess market trends.
• Communicate with suppliers to request quotes, negotiate pricing, and coordinate order placement and delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including maintenance technicians and engineers, to understand parts requirements and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier information, quotes, orders, and delivery schedules using the procurement software.
• Support the resolution of supplier-related issues, such as quality discrepancies, delivery delays, and invoicing discrepancies.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize sourcing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

About you

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Aero / Mech Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel.
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous internships or coursework related to supply chain management, procurement, or the aerospace industry is preferred.
