The Airtel Story

The founder, Sunil Bharti Mittal, had an explicit idea about the emergence of the telecommunication industry in the world. After having ups and downs in his professional life, he finalized a deal with the French company. He got his plan’s approval from the government in 1994. Just after that, he launched Airtel in 1995 which made its place in the market within a few years. Now it is recognized as India’s second-largest mobile network.

The main mission has always been to provide the best telecom and internet services in India. After experiencing initial struggling days, the international journey started in 2009, in Sri Lanka. Then, the company expanded more and now provides its services in 18 countries successfully.
