Job Description

UX Researchers at Cars24 are passionate advocates of our users. They have excellent communication skills and can hold great conversations. They bring a diverse toolkit of qualitative research methods, and analysis frameworks, which they use to generate deep, meaningful, and actionable insights. They are comfortable with planning and creating research studies focused on insight generation, UX validation, and product feedback. They are detail-oriented and thorough, but also flexible, creating impact within time and product constraints.

Roles and responsibilities

• Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of products and experiences.
• Have regular conversations with our users to elicit their needs and pain points.
• Collect and analyze user behavior through qualitative studies, call-listening, ethnographic studies, surveys, benchmark studies, and online experiments (A/B testing).
• Plan and execute unmoderated tests to validate design prototypes, using scalable research tools like usertesting.com
• Work with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other UXRs to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research.
• Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and presentations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-2 yrs of experience
• A graduate/postgraduate degree in Design, that covers fundamentals of research.
• Experience with research design utilizing various methods including but not limited to usability studies, contextual inquiry, and surveys.
• Relevant product research experience, either in an end-to-end, usability, or generative setting.
• Knowledge of lean research methodologies
• Keen interest in the UX Design processes and methodologies
• Background from NID, IDC, or other IITs is preferred, not mandatory
• Experience working in high-paced product startup environments is preferred.
