The Chargebee Story

Chargebee was founded in 2011 by Krish Subramanian, Rajaraman Santhanam, Thiyagu, and Saravanan KP. Rajaraman Santhanam designed the very first version of Chargebee. The co-founders and the team took 3 to 4 years to solve the complex problems of repeated billings in subscription-based businesses. During these years, Chargebee approached an engineer to understand the problems that were encountered by the customers. They also used to talk to customers through skype. They also learned from other companies as well. To overcome the difficulties, Krish Subramanian volunteered to handle the functioning and marketing of the product while the other co-founders made themselves busy developing the end-product (Chargebee).
Now, Chargebee has more than 7000 consumers from 53 different countries. Fifty per cent of them belong to the United States of America, thirty per cent belong to Europe, and the remaining customers belong to the Asia Pacific. Compared to last year, the company’s growth was four times greater than the last year.
