Your role

As a Sales Intern at Dun & Bradstreet, your role involves assisting the sales team in preparing proposals, conducting market research, engaging with clients, analyzing sales data, and providing administrative support. This position offers hands-on experience in sales operations within a global business intelligence and data analytics leader. The internship typically spans 6-12 months, providing ample opportunity for learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Sales team/Mentor to understand D&B’s BFSI products suite and sales methodology
  • Makes pitches/presentations to bankers and corporates in line with D&B’s sales compliance policy
  • Identifies new business opportunities by prospecting and evaluating relevant entities
  • Visits assigned key bank branches, executes strategic sales plans, and drives increased wallet share and top-of-mind brand recall
  • Is responsible for achieving set sales targets for products such as Business Information Reports (BIR), D&B Credit subscriptions & Project Appraisal Services (PAS)
  • Builds and maintains strong work relationships with key bankers, leading to repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities
  • Regularly reports all sales activity and acts within the company’s compliance framework
  • Maintains data/client contact details in appropriate data warehouses hygienically
  • Files Progress Reviews and Forecasting Reports periodically as required by the Management.

Requirements:

  • Any graduate/ post-graduate aspiring to work with a Multinational brand like D&B
  • Prior sales internship in sales will be preferred
  • Knowledge of Trade finance and other banking products would be preferred.
  • Ready to Travel within city limits
