Your role

Responsibilities:

This is a research position in an academic setting. You will assist with:

• Data cleanup, preparation, analysis, and visualization - you will be working on primary data. The faculty will help you train on methods necessary to do your job.
• Literature search, summary, presentation, and writing.
• Writing research proposals and conducting research.
• Other research-related work.

Training, development & rotation 

The selected candidates will have Prior training in the experimental research methodology will be an added advantage. The faculty will be willing to provide the requisite training and guidance to the candidate to ensure that they can carry out the assigned work efficiently, but they must demonstrate a strong interest in and a basic aptitude for behavioral research. The candidate will primarily assist research projects that aim to enhance the understanding of consumer behavior. To this end, it would be preferable to have some background in psychology.

Salary & benefits

Compensation will be commensurate with the qualification and experience. The annual salary for this role will range from INR 2.8 to 3.5 LPA (Source: Ambition Box).

About you

Skills and Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative disciplines (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics) from any of the top-tier colleges in the country.
• Mother tongue Hindi– Should be extremely comfortable with reading, speaking, and writing in Hindi. Adept at translating from Hindi to English and vice-versa.
• Text-based data analysis skills- specifically coding in R using text-based data.

• High level of coding skills in data visualization.
