The Mindtree Story

Mindtree was founded by Suresh Senapaty, also the company's Chairman and CEO. He started operations in Chennai in 1995 as a systems integration company but soon moved into application development and maintenance, systems management, and customer relationship management (CRM). It went public on July 15, 2011, with an IPO of INR 2,000 crores ($350 million).
The company was established to create high-value solutions for global customers using technology. The company has grown from $8 million in revenues in 1999 to over $1 billion in 2010. It has more than 10,000 employees across 23 locations worldwide.

Recruitment Process

The Mindtree recruitment process is designed to ensure that only the right candidates are selected for the job. The process starts with a pre-qualification round where candidates are shortlisted based on resumes. After this, they will be called for a test which consists of aptitude tests, technical interviews, and written tests. Candidates who clear this round will be called for an HR round where they will be interviewed by a senior member of the HR team who will decide whether or not they fit into the company's culture. They are given offers based on their performance in previous rounds if they do.
