What’s exciting about this opportunity?

 We are looking to hire a talented editor to aid in the creation and execution of high-quality content for our e-learning courses. As an editor, you are required to work closely with our content team to edit the lessons and other resources. The goal is to ensure grammatical and contextual accuracy along with checking the content for flow, engagement and understanding.

You will be responsible for editing the content and verifying examples, analogies and metaphors to help explain the concepts in innovative ways to aid learning and understanding. To be a successful editor you must have a proficiency in the language as well as a keen eye for detail, picking out errors and reframing the content in a better way

The Work- What will you do at MyCaptain?

• Coordinate with writers, curriculum designers and project leads to ensure quality content. 
• Set content standards and establish goals and expectations
• Suggest analogies, metaphors or other explanation ideas
• Oversee layout and formatting of the content 
• Proofread, edit and improve the lesson plans
• Verify and ensure the legibility and relevance of MCQs and other application-based assessments for the app.

• Proven working experience as an Editor
• Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills and an excellent portfolio
• Hands-on experience with Google Drive
• Proven familiarity with SEO and content management
• Excellent written skills in English
• An eye for detail along with critical thinking
• Prioritizing and multitasking
• A background in the ed-tech or education field is preferred but not compulsory. 

What is the structure and team like?

This role would report to the Education & Content Manager. We are currently working remotely till we receive an official announcement that it's safe to start working from the office. We are 200+ and growing and based out of Bangalore
