What’s exciting about this opportunity?

This is an amazing opportunity for you to set up the Career Services at MyCaptain literally from scratch. You will be defining our employer partnership strategy ground up by showcasing MyCaptain positively to corporates for jobs, internships and freelance gigs for our learners. You, along with your team, will be shaping mentees for job and internship readiness. You will be leveraging your network and contacts and reaching out to HR Heads of various companies and increasing employability and internship opportunities for our mentees. You will be working in a fast moving and dynamic environment with an opportunity to scale a start up from pre-series A to the end of Series A funding. We are quite unconventional and bullish in the non-academic space and would love to see our learners pursue new age and unconventional roles, resonating their true calling.

 The Work- What will you do at MyCaptain?

• You will be responsible for bringing in Internship, Freelance, and full-time Job opportunities for students who have completed our courses
• You will be responsible for maintaining a strong network of recruiting partners.
• You will be responsible for maintaining and tracking data of students who have applied for opportunities through us and successfully started them.
• You will be responsible for bringing top brands on board to partner with us for our courses, projects and other live sessions we conduct.
• You will recommend our mentees to these companies after they learn what skills they love and want to achieve.
• Helping mentees plan a career path and find internship opportunities according to their skills and lead them to resources that help them accomplish their goals.

What are the structure and team like?

This role would report to the Training & Placement Lead. We are currently working remotely till we receive an official announcement that it's safe to start working from the office. We are 200+ and growing and based out of Bangalore.
