Setu was found in 2018. Today Setu’s APIs and software are used by hundreds of businesses to reimagine onboarding, payments, deposits, lending, and data empowerment for their end customers.
Banks, insurance companies, lending firms, regulators, AMCs, and more such institutions power our vast, complex financial system. As our economy grows, more and more businesses need access to financial services from these institutions.
But these institutions have trouble scaling, due to their technology constraints, forcing businesses to spend valuable time and engineering effort solving for rudimentary fintech needs, instead of focusing on their product.
India’s economic infrastructure needs a complete overhaul. Today our digital economy rides on rickety monolithic systems built in the mid-90s. It takes months to do a simple bank integration and launch a fintech product. This inefficiency cannot continue. If our economy has to grow, we need killer API infrastructure for financial services that rivals the likes of Stripe, and AWS.
At Setu, we are fixing this for good, by abstracting away the complexity of working with legacy financial infrastructure and replacing it with a developer platform that offers clean, high-performance API bundles to embed finance into any application. Ours is a lofty ambition, and we’re in for the long haul. Our work could potentially affect the economy as a whole this is a decades-long horizon and would love your help. Setu is made up of people from diverse backgrounds former actors, dilettante singers, certified scuba divers, math nerds, game designers, and whatnot. We lay a high degree of emphasis on overall logical ability and evaluate it through a rigorous interview process. It would help to be prepared to spend a few hours with our team during this process which typically spans over four to five hours. The content and structure of the interviews are designed to help us understand how you approach problems, scenarios, and situations that emulate a typical day at Setu. Throughout the course of the interview rounds, you will get to interact with various members of the interview process.
