Overview

Supermind helps crypto analysts uncover the distinctive alpha that fuels individual investment strategies by indexing, searching and personalizing data from across social channels. As opposed to mass consumption of information, Supermind personalizes the information about the assets, people, conversations and more to help analysts stay on top - while being plugged in and making sense of the deluge of information web

In the context of Web2 think of it as Google for Crypto as our 1st product. You will work on a cross-section of large-scale data, Natural language processes, and Search and Blockchain nuances.

What we look for in our people

  1. We value consistency of outcomes over occasional moments of exceptional excellence. 
  2. Exceptional problem-solving skills, clarity of thought and the “WHY“ behind planning & executing your work streams. 
  3. Ability to identify problems, structure & prioritize with little feedback and then work with the rest of the team on specifics.
  4. Self-lead with various degrees of ambiguity and be able to put one foot ahead of another in moments of self-doubt, as you will be working on new problems every week. Ability to self-orient/ ask for help when stuck and a very high degree of self-awareness
  5. Can apply the solutions to problems from other domains to this any other domain / Critical thinking. 
  6. Think and own your own ramp-up. Build a strong ecosystem of mentors to support you. 
  7. Ability to size the problem, work within constraints and identify the most impactful use of their time, when working within time constraints
  8. Being hands-on, irrespective of the problem solving and the ability to handle complex multi-variable problem solving and be able to synthesize the same meaningfully
  9. Expect that hard, direct & honest critique will be given to them and should take it in stride. Accept it and even welcome it, as a means to your growth
  10.  Should be extremely unapologetic about what they believe in, can question & challenge the beliefs, but at the same time are grounded and change their viewpoints depending on new information
  11. Very strong bias for action - imperfect is OK. What is not ok is not trying to get better !! This reflects our everyday actions as a core ethos.
  12. Your functional competence and previous work experiences while important are only ~30% as important as the other attributes above.
