Your role

The role will be a part of the HUL Modern Trade-Cash & Carry Sales team in a customer-facing assignment. He/ She works in tandem with other functions viz. CM, CD-Ops, CD-Finance, CD-Supply Chain & branches. The executive would also assist the KAM in handling the account portfolio.

The role requires high discipline with timelines and strong business understanding with basic negotiation skills and stakeholder management.

• Driving the right mix and activations with the customer through effective planning the promotions and investments along with the KAM and CMM.
• Ensuring that all operational work is aligned and completed on time with the customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring Availability and in-store execution for the business.
• Being the voice of the customer in HUL and vice versa would be the key expectation. The person would be responsible for all business transactions between HUL and customers.

Scope of work

• Managing the accounting and claim settlements with the customer to ensure clean accounting.
• To land the network of OPS, Visibilities, and other activities on time.
• To engage with the internal commercial/COE team for pricing, master maintenance, OPS code release process etc periodically. He/ She will be responsible for releasing Purchase Orders from customers and coordinating with the internal supply team for On Time In Full servicing of those Pos.
• The person would be responsible for leading and closing all operational work and day-to-day tasks with the customers which are very critical in ensuring customer delight.
• The KAE manages contact with various key decision makers across the hierarchy in the Cash and Carry customers that he/she handles.

Training, development & rotations

• They make use of new styles of training, such as the ‘train the trainer’ approach.
• Their Casale factory in Italy has introduced this: training is carried out by the operators themselves, who have already received training, and then share their knowledge with their colleagues.
• As they live and breathe factory processes, employees can offer instant support in understanding questions and suggestions, which is proving particularly useful in building knowledge of new digital apps and digital factory operating systems.
